About
Captain Zach Broda
Captain Zach was born and raised in Maine and loves spending time outdoors and on the water. He is a Registered Maine Guide and has his captains license issued by the United States Coast Guard. Any free time he has is spent fishing salt or fresh water, checking his lobster traps, hunting, hiking, or adventuring with friends and family. He loves cooking, especially if it is food he has caught or harvested. In the winter you can find him preparing for the next season, traveling to warmer fishing grounds, reading, listening to music, etc. Other than Maine he has fished in Alaska, Florida, Wyoming, Montana, Belize, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, New York, Ohio, and New Hampshire.
For the 2026 season we will be launching our brand new 26’ Osprey Storm, Ann Marie! Named after the middle names of the captain’s mother (Marie), aunt, sister, and niece (Ann). This boat is being built by Northwest Marine Industries out of Bellingham, WA. We are excited to represent this west coast style pilothouse in the Northeast. She will be powered by two Suzuki DF200apx5 4-stroke outboards, rigged up with modern electronics, safety equipment, and fitted for all types of fishing! There will be a head (toilet), seating, and a sleeping space in the berth for over night trips. (Boat pictured is a stock photo, we will update with new pictures when she arrives!)
The new boat is an upgrade from our 2019 NorthCoast 190cc In Too Deep, which was an absolute fishing machine inshore and even managed some big offshore catches! We loved her and trust she’ll be in good hands with her new owner. We got our start chartering with this boat and we’ll miss her but could not be more excited for the Ann Marie to be finished. keep an eye on our IG (@fullmoonfishingme) for updates on the progress!

Rules, Expectations, & What To Bring
Rules:
The safety of everyone on board is our priority!
The first and most important rule is Respect. Respect for the captain/crew, anyone on board, yourself, the boat rules, laws, environment, and other boaters.
The second most important rule is to bring a positive attitude, enjoy yourself and make the best of your time on the beautiful Gulf of Maine.
Alcohol is permitted. Only beer and wine. No hard alcohol, no glass. The captain has the right to cut you off if he deems you to be too intoxicated and end the trip with no refund. Also, no illegal drugs on board AT ALL.
The captain is the only one who can cancel the trip due to weather. If he deems conditions unsafe we will try to reschedule or refund the deposit. If we are out and conditions become unsafe we will pro rate the trip. Basic rainy days we will fish.
The captains directions will not be undermined or questioned.
Cancellations will result in a refund of the deposit as long as the trip is cancelled more than 7 days before the trip. Cancellations within 7 days of the trip will not get their deposit back. Cancellations within 48 hours of the trip will be required to pay for the trip.
A Deposit of $100 is required when a trip is booked. A deposit of $200 is required for Tuna & Shark trips. The remainder of the cost will be paid in full before the trip begins.
Anyone 10 years of age or younger must wear a life jacket at all times. I will need to know their weight ahead of time to provide the proper jacket. All ages are welcome. Anyone under 18 must be accompanied by a legal guardian. Offshore trips have a minimum age of 12. Overnight/Night trips have a minimum age of 18.
No black soled shoes. No bare feet. Sandals are not recommended.
No littering, we have trash receptacles.
No firearms or fireworks.
Any serious medical conditions must be told to the captain prior to the trip.
Seasickness is not fun. If you are unsure or think you will get seasickness it is up to you to plan ahead. Taking Dramamine before the trip will help with seasickness, it will not help if taken during the trip. If a customer wants to end the trip early due to seasickness the trip will not be refunded or prorated.
Expectations:
What You Can Expect:
You can expect me to guide you and provide opportunities to catch fish to the best of my ability. I am confident in my ability but it’s called fishing and not catching for a reason. It’s impossible to guarantee success. There is always a chance the fish aren’t biting, but it isn’t often we don’t find success.
You can expect a friendly, professional, and judgement free trip. All walks of life are welcome!
You can expect me to be reasonable and understanding of your wants and needs.
You can expect discussions of species we’ll be targeting, species we’ll see, the gear we use, the environment you will be immersed in during your trip, and more. We want you to learn!
You can expect timely updates on conditions leading up to your trip as well as, trip forecast, fishing updates, departure location/time, etc.
You can expect an overview of the boat before we leave the dock. We’ll show you where to stow your gear, where emergency gear is, etc.
You are not expected to know the laws or regulations. We are here to make sure those are followed so you don’t have to worry about it. You also do not need a fishing license.
Most of all you can expect to have an adventure and create some great memories out on the water!
Respect.
What We Expect Of You:
We expect you to have a positive attitude!
We expect you to be honest about your fishing experience and time on the water.

Respect.
